In 2001 in Donetsk «Do#Dj junior» Contest was held within the scope of «Do#Dj» Festival for the first time. In the course of seven years the contest has become an iconic event not only in Ukraine, but also far beyond it’s borders.
The aim of the contest is to search and support young jazz talents.
Evaluation of professional skills of contestants and selection of the worthy ones is a difficult task solved by the Jury, permanently headed by Professor of the Russian Gnesins' Academy of Music, National Artist of the Russian Federation Igor BRIL.
